about me.
Howdy! My name is Isabelle, and I am a Interior Design Graduate of Louisiana State College and have worked in this field, as well as Graphic Design and Marketing. I studied architecture and the importance of interior spaces. This includes learning ADA codes, how spaces can make people feel, and everything in between! If you are interested in my personal execution of these elements, I have included several of my own projects.
As for my own style in interior design, I deeply appreciate playful yet traditional settings, but adding my own artistic flare. Bohemian and biophilic design is quite essential in my designs because of the nature and natural world that it brings into the interior; whether that be natural lighting to help with feeling grounded or simply the design of the structure being mimicking nature and water, such as the ocean or organic forms.
I am on the look out for a Design career, as I want to grow and continue in this every growing field. I have worked in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Marketing and Advertisement, Social Media Management, and Digital Art. Some of my hobbies include surfing, art, piano, music, and simply exploring the physical world around me. Something I think of as more of a hobby is silversmithing and jewelry making! I learned when I lived in Italy, and brought it back to the states with me. I have a small studio in my living room and it's my most frequent art medium. I believe it is so crucial to be able to express yourself in this life, and share perspectives and experiences as much as you can!
In my recent job opportunities and experiences, I have been able to learn not only interior and graphic design skills, but life skills in a rapid pace setting. Since the beginning of my career, I’ve focused on channeling my talent and creativity into meaningful and powerful results. I take pride in the work I do, as well as the strong relationships I’ve built with classmates, and hopefully future clients and colleagues. I firmly believe in working hard, working together and having FUN along the way! I am eager to see where I go and what I can do for the exquisite and unknown design world. If you’re interested in learning more about me or my work, simply reach out!
